Many are familiar with the famous novel Little Women, and by extension, the character of Amy. But few know the inspiration behind Amy was the author’s sister, artist Abigail May Alcott Nieriker. The panels of the comic are simple representations of Abigail’s actual works, showing the themes of the artist’s work to all readers.
